The execution of works is required so urgently as not to permit compliance with the requirements of competition – approximately three months can be saved by not running the competition which enables the contract to be awarded before the expiry of the original deadline within the consent order.

High: Any delay to the tender and subsequent contract award increases the risk to the Council of further Legal action
a combination of approved Place capital programme resources reprofiled from the 2022/23 financial year and a further allocation, which will need to be formally agreed by the Council via the 2023/24 budget setting process
