Schools Budgets 2020/21 Lead Member for Children’s Services Decision: Salford City Council - Record of Decision (CABINET)
I, John Merry, Deputy City Mayor, in consultation with the Cabinet and in exercise of the powers contained within the City Council constitution do hereby: Approve the schools budget allocations (schools block funding) for 2020-21 and the schools budget tool submission to the Education and Skills Funding agency for compliance and checking. The Reasons are: The schools budget allocations have been calculated in accordance with Salford’s approved funding formula as agreed with Schools Forum approvals and the guidance and regulations published by the Department for Education. Options considered and rejected were: Not applicable Assessment of Risk: Low. The funding is contained within the overall Dedicated Schools Grant allocation.
