Salford City Council - Record of Decision

 

I Councillor Tracy Kelly, Deputy City Mayor,  in exercise of the powers contained within the City Council constitution do hereby:

 

1     Approve the letting of 19,663 sqft (1,826 sqm) of space at 100 Embankment on the agreed terms.

2     Note and approve that the terms provide for a capital payment totalling £42,363 by the City Council facilitate the letting.

3     Delegate authority to the Strategic Director of Place to negotiate, agree and finalise the detailed terms of the transaction.

4     Authorise the Shared Legal Service to prepare all necessary documentation and to take all steps which are required to give effect to the above recommendations.

The Reasons are to facilitate the letting of space at 100 Embankment.

Options considered and rejected were: None

Assessment of Risk:low - the proposal will offset the some of the costs of the building to the council by way of the service charge and will also provide a revenue stream by way of rent and rates

 

The source of funding: A range of options to fund the Capital element of the proposals are available to the Council
