Salford City Council - Record of Decision

 

I, Councillor Gina Reynolds, Lead Member for Adult Services, Health & Wellbeing and co-chair of the ICJC, in exercise of the powers contained within the Council Constitution, do hereby approve a 3 year extension to the Community Stroke Service contract delivered by The Stroke Association, on the basis that the service specification requires delivery by a specialist service provider.

The Reasons are.

            To ensure service continuity and quality

Options considered and rejected were.

            To undertake a tender exercise

Assessment of Risk.

            Medium – the services are delivered to vulnerable groups

The source of funding is.

            Salford City Council and NHS Salford Clinical Commissioning Group
