To hear an application for a new premises licence for the following premises:

Name of premises:               Brewery & Bakery

Address of premises:           The University of Salford, Albert Bentley Square, Salford, M5 4WT.

                                  Licensing Panel (Premises) 15 June 2022

Premises: Brewery and Bakery, Albert Bentley Square Salford.

Applicant: The University of Salford.

Decision:-

To grant the application for the hours applied for , with conditions as set out in the operating schedule and with the following additional condition:

1.    To make a telephone number available for a manager  or other responsible person  to local residents.

Reasons:-

The Committee considered that the hours applied for were appropriate taking into account the size and nature of the premises and its location. The Committee was satisfied that the operating schedule was appropriate and proportionate and sufficiently robust to mitigate the potential for the licensing objectives to be undermined by the operation of the premises.  The Committee therefore considered it appropriate to grant the licence as set out above.
