Decision
Grant the application subject to the following: -
Supply of Alcohol
Sunday to Thursday 12.00 – 21.00 hours Friday and Saturday 12.00 – 23.00 hours
Opening Hours
Sunday to Thursday 09.00 – 21.30 hours Friday and Saturday 09.00 – 23.30 hours
Replace current condition 2 on the current licence
“Open containers of alcohol shall not be taken outside the building.”
with the following condition:
“No drinks shall be consumed outside the clubhouse after 20.00 hours Sunday to Thursday and after 22.00 hours Friday & Saturday.”
In addition, the following condition to be added:
“Alcohol is to be served in polycarbonate, plastic, or shatter-proof glasses for consumption of alcohol outside the clubhouse.”
(Current conditions 1, 3 and5 to remain on the licence)
Reasons
The Panel fully considered all representations made in person at the hearing and in writing and decided that the application should be granted with reduced hours with conditions added to the premises licence to regulate the consumption of alcohol outside the clubhouse (as detailed above).
In arriving at its decision, the Panel considered all the oral and written representations, the Licensing Act 2003, s182 guidance, licensing objectives and its own Licensing Policy.
